Vintage Fashion Printing Plates – Choose Your Design

A little piece of printing history with plenty of character. Choose from five metal printing plates featuring three fashion illustrations and two shoe designs. The raised images, worn surfaces, and copper-colored patina make them interesting pieces to display as they are or incorporate into a creative project.

These came from my personal collection. I believe they were used for printing, but I don’t know their exact age, origin, or original publication. I haven’t tested them for stamping or printing.

• Lace-Up Boot: approximately 2 × 2 inches
• Pair of Shoes: approximately 1½ × 1½ inches
• Previously owned, with visible wear, patina, and irregular edges

Display one on a shelf, add it to an assemblage, or experiment with it in your art studio. If you plan to print with one, please note that I haven’t tested how it transfers an image.
