Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring has been reimagined in this piece, Girl with the Paisley Earring, created on a 2’ x 4’ dyed  Shou Sugi Ban plywood panel. The mixed media artwork incorporates acrylic ink, paper, and spray paint! Ooooooh boy was this different for me…but also refreshing to learn something new! It is acrylic, washi tape, ink, spray paint and paper in this large 2' x 4' piece.  Framed image is just for fun!
