Afterlife of the Party & The Departed Would Like to Depart – Framed Watercolor Paintings

She’s still dancing. He’s been ready to leave for an eternity...........

These original Day of the Dead paintings tell two sides of the same night. “Afterlife of the Party” features a spirited skeleton lady and her equally entertaining feline companion. “The Departed Would Like to Depart” features her patient—or possibly past patient—counterpart, hat in hand and ready to call it a night.

Created in watercolor, pen and ink, each painting is filled with expressive details, colorful washes, and a healthy dose of attitude. Matching white frames and red-and-ivory matting make them natural companions.

I’d love to see these two go home together, but each is available separately.
