Southwestern Cellini Beaded Necklace - Turquoise & Earth Tones
Share
Southwestern colors and textures have always inspired me — the turquoise skies, warm desert tones, and bold patterns found in nature and traditional design. This necklace was created using the Cellini stitch, a beading technique that forms a beautiful spiral texture and gives the piece its rich, dimensional look.

For this design, I selected beads in turquoise, bronze, and soft gray tones to reflect a Southwestern color story while allowing the pattern itself to shine. The beaded focal section is paired with a leather cord to keep the look grounded and wearable.
What I love about the Cellini stitch is how it lets the design evolve naturally as the beadwork grows. Each necklace turns out slightly different, making every piece truly one of a kind.
